The first MUGIC® commission by Mari Kimura, composer Dai Fujikura's "Motion Notions" is played without any pre-recorded materials, foot pedals or computer operators. MUGIC® detects and analyzes the bowing motion, interacting with the electronic effects generated live. "Motion Notions" was premiered by Mari Kimura at her solo recital at the Chigiana International Festival in Siena, Italy, July 9th, 2019. and the Max patch for "Motion Notions"' is available for free. The score is published from Ricordi, which is available through Dai Fujikura.
